Privacy policy
In short: whatever you type into the generator and the editor never leaves your browser.
Who runs the site
QR Studio (the “site”) is run by MrBag Studio.
Questions and requests about personal data: app@mrbag.org.
What happens to what you enter
Everything you put into the generator and the design editor — links, text, contact details, Wi-Fi passwords, logos, photos and layouts — is processed in your browser, on your device. It is not sent to our server, and PNG, SVG, PDF and ZIP files are created locally.
What is stored on your device
To keep your work after a reload, the browser saves the last design, settings, favourite frames and the editor autosave in local storage. For offline mode the browser also caches the site’s own files. Both stay on your device; you can clear them in the browser settings (site data).
Design links
“Share” puts the design parameters into the link after the # sign. That part of an address is not sent to the server, but anyone you give the link to will see the design and the code content. Uploaded images are never included.
Server logs
Like any website, the hosting provider may automatically log technical request data — IP address, browser, requested page and time — to keep the site running and protect it from attacks. We do not use these logs to identify visitors.
Analytics and cookies
With your consent the site uses Yandex Metrica. These services set cookies and collect technical data: pages viewed, clicks, time on site, approximate location, device and browser type. Yandex Metrica may also record how the page is used (Session Replay); text you type into fields is not recorded.
Until you press «Accept» no counter is loaded and no request is made to Yandex or Google. If you choose «Essential only», the choice is remembered and nothing is loaded. The data is processed under the providers’ own privacy policies; Google may process it outside your country.
Third parties
Fonts and libraries are served from the site itself, so pages do not contact third-party servers without your consent. A QR code you make may lead to another site; that site’s own rules apply there.
Your choices
You can change your cookie choice at any time with the button below, and clear everything stored on your device in the browser settings. For any other request write to app@mrbag.org.
